If you reside in Douglas, Franklin or Miami County, we provide weekly pick-up for basic household refuse.
Please be sure to place all items out by 7:00 a.m. on your pick-up day.
We make accommodations for elderly and disabled households.
Windy days make for a big mess. Help us help you get rid of your disposables. Bag it up! This greatly diminishes fly-away items during collection whether it's done by manual labor or automation. Thanks so much for your help!
TRASH
- We accept non-hazardous waste that a single family household disposes of on a daily basis.
- Please bag your disposables. This not only cuts down on unwanted pests and odors, it will help deter animals.
- 55 gallon or larger containers will not be emptied of loose trash (safety reasons).
We do take pride in the services we provide and do not intentionally toss or dispose of containers or cause damage from normal dumping. Over time, containers will wear out due to normal use, wear and weathering. We do offer carts for $3 per month.
YARD WASTE
- We collect grass/shrub clippings, leaves and tree trimmings ONLY
- 10 item weekly limit
- Grass/shrub clippings and leaves must be bagged
- We will not empty containers of loose yard waste
- Tree limbs: 3" max in diameter, 4' lengths and tied with twine or rope
- Soil/dirt, rock or mulch - extra fees may apply and must be manageable by one person
BULK ITEM / CLEAN-OUT (EXTRA FEE)
- Furniture, appliance, construction debris, carpeting and clean-out piles
- Contact our office during business hours to schedule prior to your pick-up day
- Consider a dumpster for your large clean-out jobs
HAZARDOUS WASTE
- Vehicle batteries
- Paint
- Oil and other vehicle liquid waste
- Hazardous medical waste
- Anything else listed on the container as hazardous or toxic
